The Mighty Mississippi River gathers its waters from mountains, farmlands and lakes of North America, winding its way southward to the great state of Louisiana. Across the centuries, the river has supported a nationwide network of communities, and fertile ground for the development of American culture. Like the Mississippi River, the musicians of Tulane University also come from across America to New Orleans, to form a unique blend of talents. They are part of the ongoing evolution of American popular music that is born and bred in Louisiana. Please enjoy the Tulane University Marching Band as they perform “A River of Music to Feed Your Soul.”
Special Thanks to the USA Pavilion, United States Department of State, and Louisiana Lieutenant Governor Billy Nungesser’s Office and Louisiana Office of Tourism for their support of this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity! Click the links below to learn more.
