As our modern era TUMB program grows, we produce more and more new band alumni. These enthusiastic graduates have evolved into an energetic network, creating the Tulane University Marching Band Alumni Association (TUMBAA), supporting the band program and the university, and re-uniting band alumni from all eras.

Alumni Band Registration HAS CLOSED

We cannot wait to welcome you back Uptown for homecoming 2024! This is sure to be a special year with new head coach Jon Sumrall at the helm of Tulane Football! Homecoming is Saturday Nov. 9, 2024 vs. Temple University. Time is TBD. Registrations submitted before October 16th 2024 will receive a confirmation email once kickoff time is announced 2-weeks prior to game day. If you missed our 2024 registration deadline, be on the lookout for our 2025 registration form here in August.

Note: Tulane Bands does not have the ability to admit guests of alumni. We can only admit alumni band members. Guests must purchase their own tickets to the game via the ticketing office or SeatGeek.

Bringing Your Own Instrument?

Tulane Bands can provide a limited number of larger brass instruments such as Mellophone, Trombone, Baritone, and Sousaphone (we only have 3 extra fiberglass sousaphones this year because our Sousa section is so large. If we do not have a sousa for you, we can provide a baritone or trombone); as well as percussion instruments. If you play piccolo, flute, clarinet, or alto sax, you must provide your own instrument.

For a TUMB Alumni Band Hawaiian Shirt (required for entry into Yulman Stadium). Leave "Not Needed" if you already have one. Replacements are $50, cash or check to "Tulane Bands."

Will you be attending the TUMBAA tailgate?

Alumni Band Members enter for free with the band. Guests of Alumni will need their own ticket for entry. Tulane Bands does not have the ability to admit anyone but alumni band musicians. Alumni must wear TUMB Floral Shirt for entry into Yulman Stadium.
