Calling all TUMB Alumni!

Register by Monday, 11/5/2018, to reserve your spot!

The Homecoming matchup between the Tulane Green Wave and the Eastern Carolina University Pirates is Saturday, November 10, 2018. The Alumni Band will take the field with the TUMB after they perform their British Invasion show, part of the 2018 fall theme of “Around the World.”

You can join us on the field by visiting the Alumni Band page by clicking the link below and filling out the RSVP form! You will receive a link to the 2018 Alumni Band music and a discount code for your guests to purchase a ticket in the band section.

Calling all green wave fans, family, friends, and supporters! The TUMB is sending a platoon of members to perform in Columbus as the Green Wave takes on The Ohio State University on September 22nd!

You can help us get there by donating to our WaveStarter campaign! Any donation amount helps us reach our goal and we currently have a challenge from a matching donor! Any gifts up to $5000 will be matched dollar-for-dollar so your donations are worth double!

Mardi Gras Volunteers Needed!

Calling all TUMB fans, friends, and family!

The TUMB is in need of a few more volunteers for our Uptown Mardi Gras parades! Duties include passing out food and water to the members of the TUMB on the parade route, crowd control, and tossing TUMB Doubloons! If you are interested, please fill out the following form! If more than one person in your party wishes to volunteer, please fill out the "Additional Volunteers' Names" section.

Homecoming Kickoff Time Announced!

Hey GREEN WAVE fans! Homecoming Kickoff Time has been announced. The Green Wave will take on the University of Cincinnati Bearcats at 3:00pm CST on Saturday, November 4th. The game will be broadcast on ESPN3 and the TUMB will be sharing live updates on our social media accounts throughout the festivities! Tag your posts with #wave17 to join the fun!

Homecoming, Road Trip, Band Day, OH MY!

A HUGE "Thank You" to all of our fans who came out to support the TUMB and Green Wave Football at our 2016 Homecoming, and an EVEN HUGER "Thank You" to all of the TUMB Alumni who returned to Tulane to play with the Spirit of the Green Wave one more time! We had 50 former members of the TUMB going from Class of 2016 all the way back to the Class of 1952! The TUMB and Alumni Band performed an arrangement of a classic New Orleans tune, "Hey Pocky A-Way" by The Meters. The success of the current TUMB is a direct result of the work put in by our alumni and we can't thank ALL of our alumni enough for their dedication and contributions to the band!

This weekend, the TUMB takes its show on the road to the Green Wave at UCF game! This game was rescheduled from October 7th due to Hurricane Matthew's impact on the East Coast. We're excited to see our friends at UCF and to cheer on the Green Wave in an exciting conference matchup!

The annual TUMB Band Day is November 19th! Visit the Band Day page for more info and to sign up for the mailing list! If you are a band or choir director, we want to see your group on Benson Field with the TUMB! Give your students an opportunity to rehearse and perform with a collegiate marching ensemble at an NCAA Division I College Football game in front of thousands of fans, and to work with some of New Orleans' finest musicians and educators.
